Privacy Policy

We have no user accounts, logins, or passwords. We use no analytics, tracking cookies, or advertising. We don't collect your email (our contact is a plain mailto link), and we handle no payment data. We run no third-party tracking or error-reporting scripts.

Your recent searches and preferred server are saved in your browser's localStorage. This stays on your device, is never sent to us, and you can clear it any time through your browser.

To make the site fast and useful, we store some public Riot data in our database:

• Ranked LP history — when a profile is viewed, we save snapshots of that player's rank and LP over time, so the profile can show a rank-progression graph.
• Match performance — for a viewed profile, we save that player's own per-match stats (champion, KDA, result). We store only the searched player's data from each match, not the other participants'.
• Leaderboard — we store the top Challenger players of the active region (currently EUW Solo/Duo): their Riot ID, rank, LP, and profile icon. This is built in the background so the leaderboard is instantly browsable, which means we store public data about top-ranked players even if they have never visited Diffix. Players who drop out of Challenger are automatically removed.

All of this is public data available through Riot's API, keyed to Riot's player identifiers (puuid, and for the leaderboard, the public Riot ID).

LP history and match performance are automatically deleted after 180 days. The leaderboard reflects Riot's live Challenger ladder: players who leave Challenger are removed on the next update.

If you'd like your stored data removed, email us at diffix.contact@gmail.com with your Riot ID and we'll delete your LP history and match performance from our database. Two honest notes: if you are currently a top-ranked Challenger player, your leaderboard entry reflects Riot's public live ladder and may reappear while you remain in Challenger; and temporary cached copies of public Riot data expire automatically within 7 days.

We briefly cache Riot API responses (from seconds to a few days) to reduce load on Riot's servers and speed up the site. These are temporary caches of public data.

To prevent abuse, our servers temporarily process the IP address of incoming requests for rate-limiting. This is used only to limit request frequency, lives briefly in memory, and is never stored in our database or used to identify or track you.

Diffix relies on: Riot Games (source of all game data), Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database), and Upstash (caching and rate-limiting). We don't share data with advertisers or analytics providers, because we use none.

We may update this policy as the site evolves. The "last updated" date above reflects the latest version.
